uPVC door locks (Euro cylinder)
The most common lock change in the UK. We replace the cylinder, supply British Standard TS007 1-star or 3-star upgrades, and check the multipoint mechanism while we're there. Most uPVC lock changes take 20–40 minutes.
Anti-snap cylinders (BS TS007 3-star)
Anti-snap locks are now the home insurance standard in the UK. If your current cylinder isn't 3-star rated, you're vulnerable to lock snapping — the most common burglary technique. We fit Brisant Ultion, Avocet ABS, and Mul-T-Lock cylinders.
Mortice locks (wooden doors)
5-lever British Standard mortice locks (BS3621) for front and back doors. We replace like-for-like or upgrade to higher-security versions where the door allows.
Multipoint mechanisms
The full mechanism inside a uPVC door (gearbox, hooks, deadbolts). Often what's actually broken when people think they need a "new lock". We replace mechanisms from Yale, Era, Avocet, Lockmaster, and most other UK brands.
Night latches & rim locks
Yale-style night latches on flats and older properties. Quick swap, usually under 30 minutes.
Smart locks & digital locks
Yale Conexis, August, Ultion Nuki, and other smart lock installation. We can replace a traditional lock with a smart equivalent without altering the door.

It depends on the cylinder or mechanism your door takes and the security grade you choose, so we quote on inspection. We always confirm a fixed price before any work starts.
How long does a lock change take?
Most uPVC cylinder swaps: 20–40 minutes on site. Multipoint mechanisms: 60–90 minutes. Mortice locks on wooden doors: 30–60 minutes. We work efficiently — we're not paid by the hour.
Do I need an anti-snap lock?
If you have a uPVC door, strongly recommended. Lock snapping is the most common burglary entry technique in the UK. Many home insurance policies now require BS TS007 3-star cylinders on the main door. Check your policy or ask us.
