UK Locksmith Pricing — How It Works

Emergency and car lockouts have published starting prices. Every other job is priced after an on-site assessment, because the lock, the door and the parts decide the cost. Either way, you get a fixed price confirmed before any work begins.

Starting prices and on-site quotes

Where a starting price is shown, it is a starting point, not a fixed quote. What a job actually costs depends on the lock, the door and the parts it needs — so we confirm a fixed price with you before any work starts. If a job falls late at night, any out-of-hours element is included in that fixed price: you will never pay a charge that was not in the quote you agreed.

Cancellation policy

No call-out fee if the job gets completed. If we come to you and no work is carried out, a £39 cancellation fee applies. That covers the technician's time and fuel, and is standard practice across UK locksmith services.

If you call and we agree it's not a job we can help with (e.g. wrong vehicle make for a car lockout), there is no charge.

The full rules — cancellation rights, refunds and chargebacks — are in our Refund, Cancellation and Chargeback Policy.

How to pay

We accept:

Payment is only taken after the job is complete. We will never ask for a deposit, advance payment, or card details over the phone before attendance.

For insurance claims

If you need a written receipt for an insurance claim (especially after a break-in), we provide:

We're happy to email these directly to your insurance claims handler if it speeds up your claim.
